Who Could Ask For More…

– Sandy J., Pavillon Finance & Admissions
As many of you know, I have been with Pavillon for almost 18 years, and I have had the privilege of witnessing real recovery firsthand. As I am not in recovery, I didn’t understand what that truly meant when I started here. Over the years, this amazing program, along with the counselors and patients, have taught me so much. I am eternally grateful for this opportunity because I was able to share this knowledge with my children.

I have watched so many people come through the admissions door, wanting to turn around and run right back out. Some came in kicking and screaming, while others were full of anger, shame, and hopelessness. I have cried with so many that felt defeated that first day here, and been a sounding board for their pain and anger. I’ve truly seen that Pavillon gives hope and a chance to start fresh! Throughout my time here, I have seen lives change, witnessed true miracles, and seen hope and joy brought back to people in need. Pavillon gives back so much that was lost.

Who could ask for more than that?

Friday Pavillon Update:

Pavillon friends and Colleagues,
We have POWER at Pavillon! The power came on late yesterday afternoon.
Now begins the process of restoring all of our internal systems, and anxiously awaiting internet and communication services.
Our Facilities’ staff are on the campus assessing needs for critical resources such as water, the wastewater system, and our Chiller which provides our air conditioning and heat.
Outside resource agencies for these systems have been notified in anticipation of the completion of restoration and obtaining approval as required for these services prior to bringing patients back to campus.
The timeline for re-opening is soon, although we do not have an exact date. We hope that it will be next week, pending any unforeseen challenges. Time will tell.
In the meantime, please do not come to the campus. We will keep you informed of our progress through these updates, including when the campus is open to staff and then to our patients.
Stay safe and stay tuned for future updates. Please share with others who may have limited access to communication venues.

In gratitude,
Barbara Bennett, CEO
