Speakers Bureau
|
Whether you're a family physician who wants to know how to talk to your patients about addiction, a counselor wanting to learn more about women's recovery or even a minister concerned about members of the congregation, the Speakers Bureau at Pavillon is a dynamic resource of highly skilled clinicians and professionals ready to help.
The Speakers Bureau features speakers and panelists from the staff of Pavillon, including certified addiction psychiatrist, Dr. John Roberts, certified addiction counselors, masters level clinicians, spiritual counselors and others with a broad range of multi-disciplinary credentials.
Topics covered include the neurobiology of addiction, intervention and treatment strategies, working with families, process addictions, co-dependency, recovery and continuing care issues, preventative strategies, relapse prevention, co-occurring disorders and post traumatic stress disorder.
And because treatment and recovery is never a 'one size fits all' approach, our speakers focus their presentations on the issues and concerns that are unique to different ages and genders. If you are interested in having a Pavillon speaker appear at an event, conference or professional association, please contact Lauren Smith-Nagel at 864-901-0663 or laurens@pavillon.org
