An Additional Level of Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Extended Care is for motivated adults and professionals who require further treatment and who can benefit from a longer stay. It is geared toward health care and other professionals, or individuals who are particularly prone to relapse or have unresolved issues, such as trauma. With regard to impaired executives and health care professionals, their continued employment or license often depends upon their sustained recovery. Our Extended Care Program provides an added layer of rehabilitative treatment, as it focuses on imparting critical relapse prevention tools. Pavillon works closely with professional advocacy and monitoring organizations that manage the licensing of healthcare professionals. The Extended Care Program, including our Women's Recovery Program, is appropriate for individuals who have completed primary inpatient treatment programs through Pavillon or another treatment center. Issues related to stigma, finding a connection to recovering professional peers, accountability, managing high-risk social situations and preparing for a return to work, are all incorporated into individual treatment.
