Pavillon Center in Western NC seeks a Full-time Counselor - IOP – This position will coordinate all aspects of the Intensive Outpatient Program including intake, assessment, psycho-education, individual and group counseling and transition planning. Will also represent Pavillon Outpatient Services to the consumer and professional community, working closely with management and marketing staff to promote these services.
Requires Masters Degree and three years experience in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field and SA certified/eligible or an Associates or Bachelors degree and must be LCAS. Must have a least three years experience in addiction or substance abuse counseling and program coordination and supervision.

Part-time Teaching Assistant-Children's Program/CD Tech/Driver Pavillon Children's Program supports area children who have family members with substance abuse issues. This position primarily supports the Children's Program as an educator but also as clerical support. Will interact with the Primary and Extended Care Programs as both CD tech support and driver.One year experience in the chemical dependence field and one year experience teaching in grades 1-8 preferred. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid NC driver's license with clean driving record for past five years. High school or GED accepted, but prefer BA or BS. The ideal candidate will have residential treatment experience and experience working with Impaired Healthcare and other professionals. Knowledge of relapse prevention therapy, family systems and Family Therapy as well as co-occurring MH conditions a plus. Requires Masters Degree and three years experience in SA Counseling or related field and SA certified and/or licensed. Associates or Bachelors degree plus 5 years SA counseling with diverse populations, must be SA Certified/licensed.
